From February 10-12 our Youth will be heading out to Alpine Winter Camp for a weekend of fun, growth, and fellowship. If you have a student who is interested in tagging along, please contact Mark Neely or Tim Kim for details. Camp stays are $155 per person. Please note that spots are limited; we are actually currently at capacity, but we do have a waitlist in place in case a few more spots open up.

On Sunday, February 5, Village will be hosting its annual Sweets for a Sweetie youth fundraising auction in the Fellowship Hall immediately following service. We would like to encourage all to begin formulating ideas for baked goods, pastries, and candies that they would be able to donate to the fundraiser to be auctioned off. Or else just come prepared to give and eat some sweets! The money raised at this auction will go to our youth program to help pay for events and activities, like their summer missions trip.

VCC has several important congregational meetings coming up over the next few months where things pertaining to VCC’s leadership, budget, and organization will be discussed. Please take note of the dates here:

January 22, 2017 – Congregational Business Meeting to approve the 2017 budget. Please join us immediately following service this Sunday in the sanctuary for our meeting to outline and approve the church’s budget for 2017.

February 26, 2017 – Congregational Business Meeting to vote on the proposed Constitution and Bylaws.  We also will vote on a Nominating Committee to seek members for the new Leadership Team.  If we do not vote to change our form of church leadership, the Nominating Committee chosen will seek a new slate of potential Council members, based on the current Constitution/Bylaws.
