On this day, and for the next three Sundays thereafter leading up to Christmas, we will honor the season with a special message and candle lighting. “Immerse: Beginnings” Weekly Reading Schedule and Groups
This week, we will be looking at pages 179-199 in our “Immerse: Beginnings” version of the Bible. This reading will be the focus of worship this Sunday, and also the focus of discussion this week in our reading groups.
We would gladly encourage all who would like to join a reading group to consider one of the following groups:–
- Men’s Group on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 – 8:45 pm
Michael Tucker and Bruce Ekblad, facilitators; meeting in the Church Office - Saturday mornings from 10 – 11:30 am
Kevin Leissner, facilitator; meeting at Don and Beth Rasmussen’s home - Sunday mornings from 9:30 – 10:30 am
Pastor Laurie, facilitator; meeting in the VCC classroom across the courtyard

Today is Thanksgiving! From all of us at Village, we hope you have a wonderful time with your family and other loved ones this holiday!
But whatever you do, try not to eat too much! (Or do. Let loose a little. It’s just one day out of the year, and we won’t tell. Promise!)

“Immerse: Beginnings”: No Reading this Week for Thanksgiving Break
We will be taking a break from our “Immerse: Beginnings” collaborative reading schedule this week for Thanksgiving. All reading groups are on break this week as well. Our reading schedule and groups will resume next week. Happy Thanksgiving!
TONIGHT!! Village and Vision Combined Thanksgiving Dinner
This evening at 7:00 PM, both the Village and Vision congregations will gather together for a special combined Thanksgiving dinner! Join us in the Fellowship Hall on this evening for a great meal as well as a wonderful time of fellowship together. Additionally, please look forward to a fun-filled program hosted by The Cove youth group! All are welcome, and family and friends are encouraged to come, too!
The dinner will be potluck style, so please also bring a dish to share. Please contact Mary Ann for dish sign up. Speak to Bekah or Laurie if you have any questions.
