“Immerse: Beginnings” Weekly Reading Schedule and Groups

This week, we will be looking at pages 139-149 in our “Immerse: Beginnings” version of the Bible. This reading will be the focus of worship this Sunday, and also the focus of discussion this week in our reading groups.

We would gladly encourage all who would like to join a reading group to consider one of the following groups:–

  • Men’s Group on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 – 8:45 pm
    Michael Tucker and Bruce Ekblad, facilitators; meeting in the Church Office
  • Saturday mornings from 10 – 11:30 am 
    Kevin Leissner, facilitator; meeting at Don and Beth Rasmussen’s home
  • Sunday mornings from 9:30 – 10:30 am
    Pastor Laurie, facilitator; meeting in the VCC classroom across the courtyard

Fall Back this Saturday!

Don’t forget to set your clocks backward by one hour this Saturday night, November 4, as we switch back to Standard Time! The time change officially occurs at 2:00 AM on November 5 when clocks should revert backward by one hour to 1:00 AM.

This Sunday at Village, Wake Up Breakfast, classes, and worship will proceed at their regular times, so enjoy an extra hour of sleep on us! ?

Village and Vision Combined Thanksgiving Potluck, Reminder

Two weeks from now, on November 15 at 7:00 PM, both the Village and Vision congregations will gather together for a special combined Thanksgiving dinner! Join us in the Fellowship Hall on this evening for a great meal as well as a wonderful time of fellowship together. Additionally, please look forward to a fun-filled program hosted by The Cove youth group! All are welcome, and family and friends are encouraged to come, too!

The dinner will be potluck style, so please also bring a dish to share. Please see Mary Ann for dish sign up. Speak to Bekah or Laurie if you have any questions.
