“Immerse: Beginnings”: No Reading this Week for Holiday Break
We will be taking a break from our “Immerse: Beginnings” collaborative reading schedule this week and next week for Christmas and New Year’s. All reading groups are on break during this time as well. Our reading schedule and groups will resume following New Year’s.

Village Christmas Choir
Take part in an annual Village tradition! Join our Christmas Choir for a one Sunday performance this Sunday, December 17! We will have one more rehearsal this Sunday at 9:15 AM, with the grand performance to follow during worship service!

“Immerse: Beginnings” Weekly Reading Schedule and Groups
This week, we will be looking at pages 229-248 in our “Immerse: Beginnings” version of the Bible. This reading will be the focus of worship this Sunday, and also the focus of discussion this week in our reading groups.
We would gladly encourage all who would like to join a reading group to consider one of the following groups:–
- Men’s Group on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 – 8:45 pm

Prayer Meeting Tonight: Seeking God in Prayer
A new prayer group has begun! Our next meeting is tonight in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 PM. We hope you will join us!
The prayer group will continue to meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. This is a special time of focused prayer for our church, focused on praying for our search for and eventual transition to a new lead pastor. All are welcome!

Come out and support The Cove Youth Group tonight! And also enjoy some beef–er, I mean, chicken!
For anyone who eats at Chick-fil-A in Azusa (that’s the one right next to APU’s East Campus) today, going on from right now until 8:00 PM, and either mentions The Cove or shows the flyer at the register, the proceeds will be donated to The Cove to help them toward their trip to CHIC in Summer 2018!
